POPULAR BOOK SERIES (adult)
For that reason, a good book series is a must-have on the shelf of any bookworm. This popular series explores the outlandish world of high society with buckets of humour. Enjoy these books before tuning into the movie adaptation of Crazy Rich Asians , featuring a stellar cast. If you've never read Karin's work , she has a lengthy back catalogue for you to dive into. The best-selling writer serves up gripping thrillers again and again, featuring detective Will Trent and paediatrician and part-time coroner Sara Linton as they work to solve grisly crimes.
Adult Series Books
A good book series is one where the first book concludes well but leaves room for the reader to want to discover what else happens to the characters. Does the main character bring justice in an unjust world, travel the seven seas, and still have time to fall in love? Think of some of the best young adult series as they follow the protagonist as they grow up and become an adult. But book series written for adults needs to go above and beyond learning about a world they already know. Binge-watch Netflix?
I don't know about you, but I really want to read more books this year, and I think I've figured out a way to do it. I've picked out a few great book trilogies to read this year — along with some longer series I've been wanting to start, finish, or re-read — and I'm pretty sure I can commit to making it through at least one of them before I'm ringing in the new year again. I want to focus on the best book series here, because I really think they're the perfect solution to a lot of common book nerd problems. Take the book hangover, for example, when you've just finished an amazing story and don't want to read anything else, because you want nothing more than to dive back into the world you just left. We've all been there, and some of us have even bounced from one book hangover to another, if we lined up a great TBR.
